Why PERFO?

PERFO delivers the strength of a reinforced surface while still preserving the natural grass appearance and drainage of the airfield. Unlike traditional hard paving, the PERFO interlocking tile system allows grass to grow back through the structure, reducing mud, rutting, and waterlogging without sealing the ground surface.

One of the biggest advantages of PERFO is its ability to improve operational reliability in wet conditions. Airfields using the system report significantly fewer closures caused by soft ground, increased flying days, shorter take-off distances, and safer landings thanks to the more stable and even surface.

PERFO is the preferred grid system for aviation because it is installed directly into existing grass with no excavation and very little disruption to airfield operations.
