PERFO tiles were originally designed for equine use and are one of the best products available for stabilising horse paddocks and preventing
muddy ground and rutting.
They are far superior to products that are simply placed on top of existing mud. PERFO tiles are designed to be compacted "into" the existing ground to prevent the ground from rutting and turning into mud.
